Devika Rayirath Partner
Devika serves as an assurance partner and an accredited PIE auditor with BAOA. Boasting over 28 years of experience in the profession, including 22 years with Mazars in Botswana, Devika has worked with various large and medium-sized businesses across numerous sectors throughout her career. This enables her to quickly comprehend client requirements and consistently deliver work that adheres to the highest standards.
Devika's expertise encompasses a range of industries, such as technology, construction, telecommunications, health services, pharmaceuticals, financial services, insurance, and parastatals. She has also been involved in projects with non-profit organizations, from those funded by SADC to European-supported donor-funded institutions. Devika currently manages both external and internal audit engagements for a diverse array of organizations.
In her role, she actively contributes to risk identification and assessment, including oversight of the firm's risk policies related to HR. Devika plays a crucial role in updating and enhancing the firm's quality control processes. Furthermore, as head of internal audit division, Botswana, she leads a team that offers risk-based consultancy services, as well as corporate governance and cultural audits. Devika possesses an in-depth understanding of corporate governance codes like King III & IV, governance processes, risk management, business processes, and internal controls.
