Michelle Olckers Partner - Audit & Assurance

Michelle is a partner at the firm and leads our Assurance Services with a specific focus on ESG Assurance. She is also a member of the Group Governance Council (GGC) and Group Quality and Risk Management Board, where she chairs the Quality Culture Committee.

Experience

Michelle was previously the Co-CEO of Mazars in South Africa as well as Managing Partner of Mazars in Cape Town, from 2010 to 2022. Michelle has over 26 years of experience with Mazars in South Africa, where she served as an audit partner for over 20 years.

Her sector experience in Audit & assurance ranges from Manufacturing to Retail, as well as Property Investment, Management and Tourism. Since arriving in the UK she has performed limited and reasonable assurance engagements over environmental and social data and metrics for various companies.

Michelle has had significant involvement in practice management and strategic projects and initiatives, including business mergers.
